ABOUT

Hummingbird Indigenous Family Services is the first and only Indigenous-led organization in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties solely dedicated to supporting Indigenous families during the earliest years of life. Formally launched in 2021 (with programmatic roots dating to 2019), Hummingbird envisions a world where Indigenous babies are born into healthy families supported by vibrant communities. Their culturally-rooted work is grounded in Indigenous values of abundance, connection, and collective well-being. They operate with the belief that every parent is the perfect parent for their child, and that healthy families are the foundation of strong Indigenous futures.
