Creator’s Game Culture Camp
We are incredibly excited to announce our first ever Creator’s Game Culture Camp in partnership with @uiatf
As @pnwnativelax continues to grow, one of our biggest goals is to create programming that connects Native youth not only to the game, but to culture, community, and Indigenous lifeways through the Creator’s Game.
Throughout the day, Native youth will have the opportunity to engage in traditional lacrosse, food sovereignty, cedar weaving, regalia making, beading, drum making, dancing, and more alongside community culture bearers, artists, and leaders (all of whom will be announced soon)
We believe the Creator’s Game has always been bigger than sport. It has always been connected to the fullness of Native life, identity, teachings, community, and relationship.
A huge thank you to @uiatf and Daybreak Star for partnering with us to help bring this vision to life.
